It was one week after he released his third album, ‘Three.’ The location was Wilmer Studios – named after his daughter – somewhere in Lekki. He is not just an artist, he is a music head and music is an emotional and spiritual exercise for him. It was evident in the pictures that sat on a wall in his expensively assembled studio.
Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, and other great rappers had their respective places. His emotional and spiritual connection to his music also meant that he wasn’t too happy about a review written by Pulse Music Editor, Motolani Alake for ‘Three’ some days earlier – but the show had to go on and a story had to be told.
