The 2018 movie. ‘Lionheart’ directed by veteran actress Genevieve Nnaji is no longer in the race to win the highly coveted award.
According to the Academy Awards, the film violates an important requirement — entries in this category must have “a predominantly non-English dialogue track.”
The 95-minute movie features both the English and Igbo dialogues.
