Tired of the gloomy statistics, Confidence Odionye decided to solve Nigeria’s food shortage, by using drones to speed up farm spraying operations. He founded Beat Drone in 2014 and has grown his fleet to 16, helping farmers improve yield, and creating food abundance in Africa’s most populous country.
Benjamine Chiedu first began to build drones as a hobby. Over time, he quit his banking job to make drones full time. Now, he has founded a drone making company: Rotors & Pilots, has attended international exhibition events, and received an invite by the British High Commission, all thanks to his passion for UAVs.
