Dr. Damages Says Goodbye

Share this:

Africa is at peace, from Sudan to Cameroon and from Somalia to Northern Mali. Nigeria is at peace, from Maiduguri to Zamfara and from Southern Kaduna to Kastina. President Buhari of Nigeria has been sworn in for a second term in office just as the Presidential Election Tribunal intensifies its investigation of the February 2019 election. A PhD holder is now Nigeria’s new Senate President while someone with a record at the Georgia State Justice Department in the US has just been elected the Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives. What a great time for Dr. Damages to take a bow. After eight years of show production at SaharaTV studio in New York City, Dr. Damages Show is homeless and in a season of structural adjustment. In this season finale, your good doctor thanks his dedicated viewers over the years for allowing him and his hammerscope into their homes. He also thanks all those who have helped in the production of the show- producers, editors, sidekicks, nurses, politicians, noise-makers and, of course, reliable newsmakers like Dino Melaye, Majek Fashek and Cossy Ojiakor. The doctor will, hopefully, see you all again soon in the other room.
